The Leica Lens Holder M allows you to keep a complete mini photo outfit - a camera and two lenses - hanging on your carrying strap and ready for use. It is screwed into the tripod bushing, and the second lens also serves as a handle when it's inserted into its bayonet mount, helping to provide additional stability when shooting handheld at long exposure times. The setup could even be used as a miniature tripod. The M system lens holder fits all analogue Leica M models except the Leica M5.\n\nThe Leica Lens Holder M not only keeps an additional lens always at hand, it also transforms the lens into a stability-enhancing handle!\n\nFilm changing is in no way impeded by having an M system lens holder in place - the hinged lever that unlocks the base plate remains freely accessible.
