Having moved around to a few places which were furnished, I've used quite a few different washing machines. The LG F4J5TN3W stands up well against the better machines that I've used recently. It's capacity is good, and has a number of running cycles, which allow you to really select the appropriate wash for your needs.
Some of the other machines I used damaged my clothes (on a number of occasions) and this seems to have stopped since switching to this machine, which is a definite plus.
A few things which are down sides: It has some settings which don't provide you with a time estimate, until after you've turned it on. I'm not sure why this is, I assume it's trying to first figure out the weight/volume of clothes you have in there - therefore how much time to wash. Which is cool in a way, but frustrating too. The other is the spin cycle! It can sound like a plane is taking off. Maybe it's because I have the washing machine in the house this time, not outside - but at times I'm quite paranoid when doing a late wash, what the neighbours must be thinking.
Other than that, it's a great machine - very modern and very capable.
- Lots of settings
- Modern screen
- Seems to be quite efficient
