The LANCOM 1781VAW is a universally applicable VPN router for high-speed Internet connections with integrated VDSL2 and ADSL2+ modem as well as WLAN based on IEEE 802.11n. As a powerful basis of versatile Internet connections and professional WLAN for small and medium-sized enterprises and home offices it meets highest demands of security and performance. It supports all VDSL and ADSL connections – also for operations without a splitter based on ADSL2+ annex B / J (over ISDN) or A / M (over POTS) – as well as the connection to an external modem. On top of that, with the integrated dual-band WLAN based on 802.11a/b/g/n the LANCOM 1781VAW connects wireless clients at 2.4 and 5 GHz. It is also ideal for professional site connectivity: With its extensive VPN capabilities, the device provides secure, high-performance connectivity to branch offices and remote workers. The four ports of the integrated Gigabit Ethernet switch ensure maximum performance and are also energy-efficient based on IEEE 802.3az: If no data is transmitted over an interface, its power consumption shuts down automatically.
