Mouse and Swan's Company Paperback

"Mouse and Swan's Company: Meet the Thunder Puppy is a comforting picture book about being scared of storms. When a huge storm rolls over Gams's house, Mouse is sure the thunder is a giant dog barking at the windows. The four swans all react in their own ways, from hiding under blankets to pretending they are not scared at all. Gams sits down with them, names the feeling of 'scared, ' and tells them a story about a storm dog whose tail thumps the clouds so hard it makes thunder. By the end of the storm, the kids look up and see a huge, sleepy cloud-puppy curled in the sky, its tail still flicking. Now, whenever the sky barks, Mouse and Swan's Company remember their thunder puppy and feel just a little bit braver."
