A Libri GmbH A Long Lost Girl Paperback

Lara Woods arrives at Blackwood Academy during a heavy, rhythmic downpour, sensing an unexplainable chill connected to the eerie institution where students barely move and wandering after dark is forbidden. When she moves into Room 214, she meets a strange boy who warns her, cryptically, that some rooms do not only contain people but also keep them there. That same night, Lara hears mysterious voices and knocks, and the boy's frightening announcement that she is not supposed to be awake yet, since the school begins to observe her the next day. The following morning in history class, the boy remains completely still, answers every question before the teacher finishes asking, and smiles ominously whenever the academy's old history is mentioned, leaving Lara utterly anxious.
