Everyone Leaves is my third book. It is a self-help book about navigating grief. As I approach my 60th year on earth, I struggle with the number of losses that are happening. I have lived a life with depression and anxiety. My previous books address depression through childhood and my adult life. In the past few years, I have lost my godmother, my friend Marie, my father, my friend Bill, My friend Martha, Carol and then my mentor and best friend Dr Frank J. Mazzarella. Dr. Mazzarella was on a book talk and event with me when he had a massive stroke at 70 and died 3 months later. After the last and most recent loss, I no longer wanted to continue on earth. My blood cancer reappeared, and I began getting sick. My business slowed down and I became too sick to work. 2024 was one of the worst years of my life. The irony of it all was that it was those very people I lost who were the ones who I would have gone to for advice on how to handle grief. I have reached out to hundreds of people in the last 24 months and have gotten great advice I would like to share and eventually teach on grief survival
