The Samyang Reflex f/6.3 300mm ED UMC CS is a new compact reflex mirror lens dedicated for mirrorless compact system cameras, with native fit mounts for Sony E-Mount (for Sony NEX), Fujiifilm X, MFT (for Panasonic and Olympus Micro Four Thirds) and Canon M.\n\nCanon EF, Nikon F, Sony A mounts have been announced, available in Q3 to Q4 2014.\n\nThe Samyang 300mm is aesthetically designed, and a compact lens for ease of carrying and use. The optical structure contains 9 elements arranged in 6 groups, including one ED-type lens to provide high contrast and reducing chromatic aberration. UMC Multicoated optics help reduce ghosting and flare.\n\nIts a very compact design with dimensions of 73.7 x 64.5 mm and weighing approximately 320g, makes it ideal for a long telephoto lens for compact system / interchangeable mirrorless cameras.\n\nThe Samyang 300mm f/6.3 ED UMC CS Reflex Mirror Lens is a manual lens with smooth manual focusing. Due to the very narrow depth of field with such a long focal length it is recommended to focus with live-view to achieve accurate focus where possible. As with all long telephoto lenses a combination of sturdy camera support / substantial tripod, good technique, fast shutter speed, and use of remote / mirror lock up is recommended to avoid camera shake to achieve the best results.\nAccepts filters of diameter 58mm front, or 25.5mm (rear). Supplied with front and rear lens caps, and lens hood.\nAvailable mounts: Canon EF, Canon M, Nikon F, Sony E Mount, Sony A Mount, Fujifilm X, MFT (Micro Four Thirds).
