The main reason I was looking for a smart lock is to have a hands-free automatic door opening system, this to the fact that that most o the time we arrive home with the hands full of things, and with a baby it becomes difficult to get the keys out of the bags.
The other secondary reasons are to integrate it with alexa to open, close, lock door. To integrate with Ring in order to open door if someone arrives, etc.
The mobile app is very complete with a lot of configuration options however navigating the app can become a bourden for a person that just wants to plug&play.
I understand that the devices sends an email when the baterry is low, however is not possible to check the baterry status on-demand. having an insight on the baterry status would be very benefitial to avoid rushes that the baterry is very low or in critical level. Specially if you leave for vacations for some time and the battery runs out of charge. you cannot replace the baterries on time and also if you can no longer open the door with Keys, you'll never get in the house.
Also the integration with Alexa. it executes the first instruction (lock door), but then if you ask to open, unlock door, Alexa says there was an error and to disable skill and re enable skill again. eventhough doing this, the Alexa integration is no longer working. Also if trying to set a routine within Alexa, seems it's only possible to lock, but not to open nor unlock.
