This Review is for Acer laptop Aspire F 15 (F5-573G-743S) - Core i7, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD, 1TB HDD , nvidia Geforce GTX 950M 4GB Dedicated graphics .
I had to specify the exact model , as There are many different configurations available under the Acer F 15 range, and did not find any specific review for this Model .
-Build quality feels good. Nice Aluminium Silver Matte casing and Body doesn't look flashy .
-It has the best configuration available for the Price.
-Seems to be fast , I was able to edit and render 60P videos in Sony Vegas without almost any Lag. Although I feel I have not really tested the Nvida GPU properly yet. (Will update the review as I spend more time) .
-Did not experience any heating issue yet .
-Battery Life seems good so far.
-Audio is Loud
-BACKLIGHT KEYBOARD!!!! (YAY :))
-Full keyboard - has a Seperate Num pad as well
-Did not find too much Bloatware
-Not as Bulky and Heavy As i expected it to be :)
-The Full keyboard with Num pad , although great for many people, does not really mean much for me, I would prefer to have a better spaced out QWERTY keyboard. It does feel that they have made the QWERTY keyboard a bit compressed to accommodate the Num pad.
-The Screen does not seem Vibrant, although its Full HD. May be coz it's TFT panel and not LED .
-The Laptop does have a sharp edge below the keyboard where your wrists rest while typing, and could cause some irritation after long usage.
-the Speakers are at the Bottom, so although the audio is loud, its not clear on full volume and does seem a bit distorted specially if u use a laptop stand with Fan for cooling.
-Already got my First system Crash (YAY WINDOWS !) when I was installing Sony vegas + doing a System tuner check on the SSD
I will update this review with Pics and more info after 1 week of Usage.
