De Xbox One S is de compactere versie van de Xbox One. De S-variant is maar liefst 40 procent kleiner dan het reguliere model. Dat betekent dat je hem veel gemakkelijker neer kunt zetten, zeker aangezien je dit model ook nog eens rechtop kunt zetten. De S-versie is niet alleen kleiner, maar ook krachtiger dan zijn voorganger. Dat betekent dat je games in mooiere kwaliteit kunt afspelen, namelijk met meer frames per seconde en in upscaled 4K-resolutie. Deze variant van de console is voorzien van 1 TB aan opslagcapaciteit. Dat betekent dat je er flink wat games op kunt opslaan.
