The Velbon QB-5RL Quick Release is a brilliant one that fit on both D-500, CX-586, Videomate II, 507, and V9900 tripods. It facilitates you to locate your camera right on the tripod head just with a single click. To do so first you will attach it to the camera with the help of a 1/4"-20 screw/ video pin and than put it on the head. The quick release lock prevents the camera from falling down. So locating the camera on the head becomes easy and secure. the quick release features rubberized surface that prevents image shakes.
