I had some criteria in mind based on my previous experience with other blenders when buying a new one. According to them:
1. Bosch SilentMixx is not silent, but IT IS MUCH QUIETER than many other blenders. The sound is not annoying and you do not want to stop it after the first five seconds.
2. It BLENDS QUICKLY and WELL. Smoothies are smooth as they should be. The blade has 6 knives (I know that usually blenders have only 4).
3. It is EASY TO CLEAN. The blade holder can be easily removed from the blender jug. The jug, lid and measuring cup are dishwasher-safe.
4. The JUG is SOLID, GLASS and THERMO-SAFE. You can blend soups right after they are boiled, when they are still hot and frothing. Although, only 0,5 l can be added at once. The jug is a bit heavy, but it makes you feel its reliability.
5. INSTRUCTION MANUAL is CLEAR. It also contains some nice recipes.
6. TWO REGIMES are ENOUGH.
7. Last but not least. It LOOKS NICE. You see with the naked eye that it is a quality product, well designed and well assembled.
To sum up, I am personally FULLY SATISFIED with this purchase.
